CONSEQUENCES 3 Swipes: 1 Hour Detention 5 Swipes: 1 Hour Detention per day for 2 days 6 or more Swipes: 1 Hour Detention per swipe for the remainder of the Semester Note: Detentions are issued at the Swipe Room. LOCATION Swipe Machine Location: Main Street, Door Number 006 (Blue door beside Media Center next to Main Street Vending Machines) TIMES OF OPERATION Periods 1and 2: 7:41 – 8:00 a.m. Swipe takes morning tardies until 8 a.m. After 8 a.m. all EXCUSED and UNEXCUSED late students report to CAP for the remainder of the period. Periods 3 & 4: 9:27 – 9:35 a.m. Periods 6 & 7: 1:05 – 1:13p.m. 5 MINUTES AFTER PERIODS: 3,4,6,7 SWIPE WILL NOT OPERATE DURING PERIOD 5 (Teachers will issue detentions to late students during 5TH PERIOD) Students late to class must go to SWIPE within 5 minutes and RETURN from SWIPE within 3 minutes. Students late to SWIPE report to CAP for remainder of period. Late bus students will receive pass from Bus Coordinator. DETENTION PROCEDURES Detentions are Tuesdays and Thursdays held in CAP room Students who get 3rd SWIPE on Monday or Tuesday serve on THURSDAY Students who get 3rd SWIPE on Wednesday – Friday serve on TUESDAY Students who get 5th SWIPE on Monday or Tuesday serve first day on THURSDAY Students who get 5th SWIPE on Wednesday – Friday serve first day on TUESDAY UNSERVED DETENTIONS Unserved 1 hour Detention will result in 1 Hour Detention for 2 days. Unserved 2 day Detention will result in a referral to administration. Consequences will be determined by School District Discipline Matrix.
